AFC Asian Cup 2011: Man To Watch: Shinji Kagawa (Japan)

Welcome back to my latest edition and review on the AFC Asian Cup 2011.

This time I want to focus on the Samurai Blue's young striker, Shinji Kagawa. He scored 2 crucial goals against the host nation, Qatar in the quarter final that saw Japan playing until the last minute with only 10 players after Eiji Kawashima has been sent off the pitch after collecting the 2nd yellow card. Japan won that match 3-2.

Shinji Kagawa, 21 years old, is a player for German Bundesliga club, Borussia Dortmund.
Currently, he had scored 8 goals for his club in the current season. He is the new future of Japanese football following the foot steps of Hidetoshi Nakata and Shunsuke Nakamura. With the super freekick scorer, Keisuke Honda as the ball provider, they are dynamic duo for the Japanese football team.

Recently he has been linked with transfer move to Manchester United.
